Questions

The app won't connect to my bike

Turn the key on, keep the phone close to the bike, and check Bluetooth is on. If another app is connected to the bike, close it and try again.

Still nothing? Turn the bike off and on, and tell us what you see.

Can I try it without a bike?

Yes. Choose “Explore with a demo bike” when the app first opens. It invents a ride so you can explore the cockpit, replay, fuel and every other screen.

Why does it ask for location all the time?

So a ride that starts with your screen off still records its route, and so the app can save where you parked. It stays on your phone. You can say no, and choose “Only while using the app” instead. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I get the watch app and the watch face?

Install Twistgrip on your phone first. Then open the Play Store on your watch and install Twistgrip there too. The watch face is a separate download, Twistgrip Watch Face; its rev arc, gear and indicators need the watch app.

Can I get my rides out of the app?

Yes. Export rides, in Settings, saves every ride as a zip with a CSV file per ride, and each ride can be shared as a picture.

Does it work with other bikes?

Not yet. Twistgrip is built and tested for the RTR 310 only.
